My name is Lorraine and I own Captured by Lorraine. I have a passion for photography and a desire to help women discover their inner and outer beauty. Even if you aren’t quite ready to show it all or prefer to remain clothed for glamour photos, booking a professional boudoir photoshoot will make you look and feel amazing. We suggest wearing something that makes you most comfortable and/or making a Pinterest board with outfits that you love! You can never go wrong with his favorite button ups, or his sports jerseys! Bring pearl necklaces, heels, boy short panties, bridal lingerie, vail, bustiers, thigh-highs, corsets and bling! Don’t worry if you’re missing something from your wardrobe because we can probably help with that! We also have a rental closet full of fun jewelry, shoes, stockings, and intimate apparel that’s sure to make you feel confident and sexy!

After your shoot, we will take about a 30 minute break and do a quick initial edit on the photos for your image reveal. We will help you choose your best images and make the process easy. You will receive your final order within 3 weeks or less. If you need it by a specific date, let us know so we can make it happen for you. Remember, we will NEVER share your photos unless you would like us to. If you choose to keep your photos 100% between you and your partner, that is fine and we respect that.
Boudoir photography is for EVERY type of woman of all shapes, sizes, and martial statuses. My clients are divorcees, fiancés, mothers, wives, thin, voluptuous, extra curvy, boyish, feminine, doctors, waitresses, and everything in between! It is for women who wish to take intimate, modern glamour, sensual and sexy
pictures of themselves. The boudoir experience makes you feel like a Victoria’s Secret model for the day! Most of the time these pictures are taken in lingerie or in situations that “imply” nudity, which leaves much to the imagination. If you uncomfortable with showing a lot of skin, bring in your partners favorite shirt or jersey!
Your boudoir shoot can take place at our studio in Hampshire Illinois. Our studio is a Residential in home studio with a built in bathroom and many amenities you may need during out shoot. We can also do the boudoir shoot in your home. Outside in a natural environment is also an option to explore.
Sessions start at $450 and goes up from there depending on what final product you choose. The average client will spend $1200-2300
Yes! We offer payment plans with no interest to make sure the boudoir portrait shoot experience is manageable for all budgets. This is an experience you will cherish for a lifetime and you’ll be able to look back at the gorgeous photos and cherish for years to come!

Most clients bring outfits of their own. During our consultation, we go over the best lingerie/outfit styles for your body type and comfort level to give you a good idea on what to bring. We build the shoot around you and your personality. We also have over 100 lingerie pieces and costumes in studio that you can borrow for our sessions if you needed to. We suggest wearing something that makes you most comfortable. You can never go wrong with a lingerie set, his favorite button ups, or his favorite jersey! Favorite things to bring are pearl necklaces, heels, boyshort panties, bridal lingerie, vail, bustiers, thigh-highs, corsets, and bling! I also have some accessories and props you can use during our shoot.
Your professional hair and make up take about an hour. The photo shoot is between 60-90 minutes. The reveal session is typically between 30-60 minutes.
Professional hair and makeup is such an essential part of the boudoir photography experience; it can make or break your photo shoot and that’s why we only work with the best makeup and hair artists! We have two professional hair/makeup stylists that we’ve worked with for years. Not only do they know how to give you the perfect look you’re wanting, but most importantly they know how to do makeup for the particular lighting and retouching techniques we use. Professional hair and make up is included in each package. We pay our hair and make up artists directly.
Our style of boudoir is classy, romantic, and colorful. I can also accommodate a moodier/black and white edit style. We offer glamour photos, white sheet boudoir photos, rose petal boudoir sessions, bath bomb boudoir sessions, sports themed boudoir sessions and if you have a special theme in mind, we can make that happen too.
We recommend that you don’t tan the week prior to our photo session. The same goes for spray tans.
Your final chosen images are fully retouched. We remove scars as requested, acne, blemishes, stretch-marks and cellulite in addition to bruises and other random marks you may have on the day of your session! If there is something you feel particularly self-conscious about, let us know!
Yes, we have a lot of experience with full figured women.
The shoot is designed with your comfort level in mind. You can wear and much or as little as you are comfortable in.
You can bring a friend along during the hair and make up portion. They are not allowed to sit in during our shoot. We make the shoot all about you and sometimes friends become distractions. If you wanted to do a boudoir shoot day with 1+ friends then we can accommodate that.
Yes! We love having friends do boudoir shoots with us on the same day. We play your favorite music. We have snacks and drinks for you to enjoy while you ladies get your hair and make up done. Each lady gets her own time in front of the camera.

We do not post or share you images with anyone without permission. The pictures in our online gallery and promotional materials have been used with permission by our past clients. You do not need to share them at all to book a session!
Clients come to our studio for the transformative and healing experience which comes with a boudoir shoot. They come to our studio for that extra boost of self-esteem, or to celebrate themselves or a milestone in their lives.

Your session is personal and customized to meet your wants and needs. We meet with you a few weeks before to go over any questions and concerns you have. We also go over outfit choices and any ideas for the shoot which you may want/have.
We want to help you see yourself the way others see you and show you your real beauty. We want to make sure every woman leaves feeling better about herself than before she came in. We want her to know she’s perfect how she is.
Our session dates are first come first serve. To reserve your spot we require a retainer and a signed contract. The retainer is your session fee.

We would love to have you book your boudoir photography Northern IL session. To book your shoot with Captured by Lorraine, we do require a non-refundable session fee. This fee covers our prep, photographing/edit time, hair and makeup if chosen and your purchasing session. Your session does not include any digital images or additional product.
The session fee is $250 without hair and make up or $450 including hair and make up (Your choice). Images and products are purchased separately.
Digital image packages start at $700. Albums start at $750.
